Please give us a short summary of your website?

A pet store and breeding facility dedicated to the proper care and well being of all of God’s animals including sugar gliders and their humans.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I launched this site because I realized that most people don't know what sugar gliders are and how to care for them.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Hill Haven Sugar Gliders is my first site and it was launched on 3/1/2008

How did you decide on a name for your website?

My land is named Hill Haven. I just added the animal I was breeding to that.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

I am a USDA and Illinois Department of Agriculture approved breeder and seller of sugar gliders.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I will keep it for income and to help others learn about sugar gliders.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I've put in HOURS, Days, Weeks, and MONTHS of time on this site. So far success has been limited.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would like to open a pet store in my hometown as it doesn't have one.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes. I spend lots of time on the computer anyway.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Setting up my site and getting it noiticed on the internet.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth has been the most successful for promoting my website.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Site has been up since 3/01/2008. I'll keep it up with no plans of closing it up.
