Web-site devoted to capturing your pet on paper as an enduring memory.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
A love of painting and a love of animals.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
About six months ago.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It seemed to cover what I do.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Every artist has their own unique style.I alwo try to keep my portraits affordable.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I would love to do this full-time some day. So many dogs-so little time.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would quit work to pursue this on a full-time basis.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I think I could do that.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Loss of items in the mail is the worst one.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Capturing the essence of the pet with sometimes less than great photo references.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
6 months so far and I have no plan to stop.
