PetSelect delivers premium quality pet food and supplies to pet lovers like you, who understand the importance of your pet's health and well-being.
We deliver the world's healthiest pet food, made by Natura Pet Products. These all natural pet diets consist of quality meats, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a complete list of mineral supplements. They do not contain chemical preservatives or by-products, unlike many of the typical pet foods found on the market today. Natura's products also contain no melamine, acetaminophen, or cyanuric acid. For this reason, these products are safe and continue in the committment to promote good health in your pet.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I saw the need for a more convenient way for responsible pet owners to feed their pets a healthy diet.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We wanted a name that sums up the products and service that we provide to pet owners.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Our mission at PetSelect is to provide top quality products and service with an unbeatable price/value relationship. At PetSelect, we too are pet owners, and our pets are part of our family. We strive to enhance the lives of our customers and their families by providing an effortless way to feed your pet the world's healthiest pet food. This service creates a win/win relationship between you and your pet, because your pet lives a long healthy life, and you have more free time to spend enjoying their companionship.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal at PetSelect is to grow our company into the premier all natural pet food retailer in our region. We want placing an order for pet food delivery to be as second nature to our customers as making their weekly trip to the grocery store.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Investing the time and money eventually pays off. The end result is more than worth it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would make it a one stop site for all things related to keeping a healthy pet. I think it's really important to keep our customers educated on how to keep their pets healthy and happy.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. We are a company of dedicated people, who are all determined to succeed.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Finding unique ways to market PetSelect has been a challenge, but we always seem to find unconventional ways to get the word out.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Getting out and talking to people about it.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's much more work than I initially expected, but again, it's worth it.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It'll succeed. We are very determined.
