Please give us a short summary of your website?

Lacie's Purrfect Pet Care is dedicated to the health and happiness of your pets. We specialize in caring for your pets while you are on vacation or at work. Our services take the stress and guilt out of your vacations and busy work schedule by providing your pets with professional care. We offer pet sitting, dog walking, and pooper scooper services.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to play with using Adobe Photoshop and basic html to create a professional looking webpage. I hope I succeeded. Beyond the fun of creating it, I hoped my webpage would help to give my business exposure.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I have created a few simple webpages in the past. I created my first well made webpage about 2 years ago and it was for the Math Club at UC Santa Barbara.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The webpage and the business are named after my cat Lacie.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We provide a range of services to handle all of your pet care needs.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far the investment of time and money was more than worth it.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I love my site, I wouldn't change a thing.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

I will definitely try when my site does get big.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Programming most of the page by hand is a challenge all on its own.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Trying to boost my page rank on Google. It is impossible to move beyond page 6.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

The site has been about 6 months in the making and posted for about 2 months. I plan to keep it up for as long as I can.
