What inspired you to launch your own website?
trying to locate items for my dog but couldn't find so opened my own online business to help others.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
October 2008 for dog accessories including leads and collars, pet bowls, dog beds and petwear among many more items.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Random brainstorming with a tongue in cheek approach
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Its classier but caters for everyone's budget
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To become the biggest online Pet Boutique with our own brand.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
ask me again in a year as only just starting out

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Not budgeting for the amount of marketing and PPC we would have to do to get our name out there
What has been your biggest challenge?
all of it has have never done anything like this before as well as import regs and locating the correct quality of products. The biggest problem is what comes first. Bit like chicken and egg
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
PPC so far but as we have only just started we are still going to use other methods i.e leaflets and advertising.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
i enjoy it.
