One day, I was walking back from the store and I saw a monkey in the window. I went in and asked the man at the counter how much he was. The man said the monkey was free, and I wondered why a perfectly good monkey would be free? So I asked the man just that, and he replied that didn't want the monkey anymore because he tended to get a little hyper.I thought, what the heck, why not? I took the monkey and called him Clyde. We stopped at the store to buy some diapers and bananas for him. At night, Clyde went right to bed so I ddn't understand why the man had told me he was hyper. The next morning I had to go to class. When Clyde woke up he went exploring. He got into my closet and found my chemistry set and drank some sort of green liquid. When I got home Clyde was nowhere to be found so I went out looking for him. As I walked throught the city, I started seeing building toppled over and subways trashed. The city was in total chaos. I looked up and saw colorful streaks flying all around this building. I looked closer and realized they were flying around Clyde! It turns out that Clyde did all of the damage in the city. He had grown enormous from drinking the green liquid. The colorful streaks were the Power Puff Girls flying around him and they came to save the day. The trio kept up what they were doing but soon started to wear down. Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup teamed up to create a super special attack. They spiralled around each other with a rainbow of color behind them making contact with the oversize monkey causing Clyde to come tumbling down. A tear came down my cheek as I watched Clyde hit the ground. Goodbye Clyde I said. Tags: pet monkey • pet stories • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

There she was, lying in the hospital, all because of me! If I hadn't pushed her so far, this would have never happened...but let's start from the beginning. I got Claire, my bunny, when I was thirty two. I could tell when I got her that she was born to fight. She would go around knocking things over and biting them. So when she was two, I decided to put her in the NFBA (National Fighting Bunny Association). Claire was good, the best, she went all the way to the semi-finals, which she won...she was kicking her way to the top. The night of the finals, that horrible night....she was facing the meanest bunny of all...FLUFFY!She had a bad reputation for cheap shots. The fight went good for the first three rounds. Claire was winning, until IT happened. After the ending bell for the third round, Fluffy was very angry because she was losing. So once my Clair turned around, the feisty whippersnapper hit Clair right in the chin and she didn't get up! Poor Clair! But all was not lost for Clair. The doctors told me they could rebuild her, make her better, faster, stronger than she was. After she left the hospital, Clair got a rematch with Fluffy. Once the fight began, Clair knocked out Fluffy with one powerful blow to her bunny chin. Soon after, Clair became known worldwide simply as the bionic bunny. The Chupacabra was first seen in Puerto Rico in 1994. Some say it was three to six feet tall and walked like a human. He was named "goat sucker" from the way he sucked blood from his goat victims. It was reported that he even killed dogs and sheep, so what was to say he wouldn't turn to humans for prey?Well, I'll tell you one thing...I would rather have a pink Chupacabra than a pink cadillac! Snipes. We have all heard of them, whether it was the invisible oines or the big tall ones, or however your parents described it to you as a young, unsuspecting child. I remember when i was little, I was at a cabin with my family, and my mom gave us all plastic bags and told us to run around until we felt something move in our bags (meaning the snipes were invisible and we could catch them in plastic bags).Well of course there were no invisible snipes running around, but my mom threw a rock in my bag while I was running around so I started freaking out because it thought I got one. I was so excited until I opened the bag and saw the rock, then I was so so sad. Then, 3 years later, i was flipping through the National Geographic and i saw this strange bird. In the caption, it said it was a snipe! Can you believe it!! They are real!!! Tags: snipe • exotic pets • birds • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

There i was in the tank swimming, or should i say scuba diving, with hundreds of sharks. Why, you ask? I was searching for my new pet of course. It was a very hard choice, but earlier that day someone got their arm bitten off by an agitated shark named Pinky. That made my choice a little easier. The owner had told me about a shark that could jump through hoops!! Her name was scallop and she was a reef shark!! Scallop and I shared a special bond already, so i decided to buy her. Now we are going all over America jumping through hoops together!! The Scallop and Kelly Jelly show!!! Tags: pet sharks • scuba diving • 1 Comments. - Permalink |

I have yet to find a dog pen that is Hook-proof. What is Hook-proof you say? Hook is the name of my 8 year old beagle. He was given his name because the tip of his tail is folded over, giving it a "hook" like appearance. Anyway, Hook is about as smart as dogs come. He was managed to escape his pen so many times that I have lost count. Hook knows his pen well. He has dug under it, dug through it, and has even forced his way out of the metal chain link fence. Even if i get a new pen for him, its only a matter of time before he knows how to escape once again. Tags: beagles • dog pens • dogs • 0 Comments. - Permalink |

Does your horse jump 10 feet every time a stick moves? Does he snort and buck at the feed stack because he thinks its going to bite him? Some horses are naturally timid. Their nature tells them to get away from something they think is dangerous. Also nervousness could be caused by to much energy, bad eyesight, or a nervous rider. If your horse is very upset and seems genuinely scared, don't lose your temper and smack him, this will just further upset him. Just talk to him calmly ands slowly let him check out the object. If he doesnt go near it, hop off and lead him over. rustle it with your foot a bit so he doesnt think it is goin to bite him. Don't forget, even the most level headed horse can get spooked, so always keep a tense grip on your reins and stay alert to things around you. This little bear cub came in our backyard and was climbing in the tree. First, when I heard the dogs barking outside, I looked out and thought there was just a very ugly dog with its paws against the tree. I was very concerned because we do have a kennel out there and I didn't know when the mama bear would show up to get her baby.We put the dogs in the house and waited a few hours. We called the game commission, but they said to just bring the dogs inside and leave it alone. Easy for him to say, when you have to go to work and leave a kennel full of dogs in your house. Talk about an ugly scene. Mama bear finally showed up in about four hours to take baby home. Tags: ugliest dog • baby bear • 0 Comments. - Permalink |
