Please give us a short summary of your website?

Equine Management Services offers administrative support, billing, marketing, consulting, and legal services to the equine industry.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to reach all areas of the equine related industry and I know how important it is to have a web presence in today's market.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Can't remember for sure but it was the first web site I built-1996.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted it to be easy to remember and associated with my business. The name conveys the services offered to some extent.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I researched thoroughly and there is no other service or web site in existence to date that is similar to mine.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I have not established an end goal or result yet.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far, so good!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would spend more on magazine advertising.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes. I have a competent staff in place.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

i have not incurred any unexpected costs to date.

What has been your biggest challenge?

I have not encountered any unforeseen problems or challenges.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I have tried to optimize the search engine traffic to it.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

No, fortunately, it has not differed in any manner.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It has been up for over a year and I a pleased with the results.
