Free Dog Download - Keep Your Canine in Top Health

I was recently looking for a downloadable vaccination schedule for my dog and came across this recommended schedule online. I searched and searched, but all I could find were a bunch of useless links or forms you had to pay for. This form is free and downloadable so I can print it and give it to my friends and have one for each dog.

My dogs are red nosed pitbulls who are very nice and obedient. They have very good dog habits and are friendly to people and other animals (even dogs).

The downloadable dog health form has a place to record all my dogs shots and notations about when I should schedule them for the next ones. Some of the diseases covered on this vaccination schedule are:

• Rabies
• Parvovirus
• Distemper
• Hepatitis
• Canine adenovirus
• Corona
• Bordetella
• Lyme Disease
• Leptospirosis
• Parainfluenza

I want to make sure that the best habit for my dogs are getting the vaccinations they need to protect them. I keep these records I downloaded in a 3 ring binder, each in a sheet protector so they don't get lost.

I've been looking and looking for a blank vaccination schedule, so thanks for posting this. One of my teenage sons keeps bringing home rescue puppies, so I've decided to reduce our vet bills by doing the vaccinations and deworming myself. We're on dog number 4!!!

I just wanted to say , THANK YOU for setting the site up. It was really nice to get a form,so I could keep better records of our new puppys shots. I've never had a puppy before. So I'm a first timer with all the wording and imformation . This has really helped me to refer back too.

I am a veterinarian and was shocked to see the vaccine information you are recommending to people. I wonder where on earth you recieved your information and I feel for the pet owners, such as the ones who hve posted above, that have foolowed this inadequate schedule leaving their pets vulnerable to diseases. Core vaccines (distemper/parvo/adenovirus/parainfluenza) should be started at 6 to 8 weeks of age and given every 3 to 4 weeks with the last vaccine given when they are over 15 weeks of age (typically extending to 18 weeks in rotts, dobies, or pitbull pups as their maternal antibodies can fall later). Your 5 week interval schedule is completely inappropriate and it is really irresponsible of you to recommend such a schedule without doing your research and understanding how vaccines work and the correct way to give them.

Well Connie, that is interesting and I am sure they appreciate your response. I am also sure, as I also have looked around on the internet for shot schedules just for general purposes so I know what (loosely) I need to get for my dog.

I don't have a "rottie" or either of the two other dogs breeds you listed, so I could care less what is normal for those breeds.

If veterinarians wanted the poor people to get a correct vaccination schedule, perhaps you wouldn't have to BUY ONE almost everywhere you go on the internet.

This is just meant to be a guideline of what vaccines are given and generally when. If you notice at the BOTTOM of the form it very clearly says:

"**Please check with your veterinarian to see what they recommend for a deworming schedule"

This list is just meant as a reference. I am sure these people are not giving their own pets the shots, but instead are talking to THEIR veterinarians.

Perhaps since you are so knowledgable, you would be willing to post us a better schedule that is specific right here so we can be correct in what we see.

Thanks for posting the link to the form. It is nice to have the info all on one sheet. I go by my vets recommendation of the shots- what kind and when. No one should follow a form on line but should always consult with thier vet, however the form is nice to record any info you like. I actually whited out a couple of the collum names and changed them to other things...ex. Frontline/teeth cleaning, etc.. Thanks again for posting..it's a nice form to keep track of your pet's health.
