Retail sales of dog grooming equipment and tools, pet supplies, pet apparel and pet toys at discount prices.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
My love of dogs, and wanting to make a living with something I love.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I wanted something short, descriptive, and also wanted it to bring to mind a the outdoors.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I would like to keep the website, have it support me, and do the things I love. Of course if the right offer came along, ie. "Myspace Buyout" type of money, I would sell and start something new, but buyouts for sites like mine rarely happen.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I have designed the site so most of the inner workings have been automated and I can do other things like play with dogs
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
The site has been up since Sept/Oct 2007. I will continue the site as long as it is viable. High traffic, income, and popularity for most sites takes time, and it is almost never immediate.
