Invisible Fence By Atlanta Dog Fencing Interview

Name of your website?

Invisible Fence By Atlanta Dog Fencing

Your name?

Chris Locklear

Your Location (city, etc)

Lithia Springs

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Invisible Fence Brand dog fencing has been successful at keeping pets safe at home for over thirty years. With our patented technology and our Perfect Start training method your dog can be safely contained by the most trusted brand in the industry.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We wanted to give our dogs the freedom of being outside so that they could play but we couldn't always be with them. Putting them in the backyard kept them away from all of the "action" so we installed an invisable fence. Now, we can be away from home and give our dogs the freedom to roam the yard. Seeing how happy our dogs were, we started our own business.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

We launched our site just a few years ago, although the product has been around for over thirty years. First we just advertised in the yellowpages but as people's interests grew we decided to build a site where people could find information.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We make sure to use a fair-warning system for the dogs so that when they hear their colar peep, they know to back up. Many of our copetitors do not give the dog enough time to realize they are about to feel a shock and it punishes the dog instead of letting it learn. Our system is safe and gives the correction low enough not to hurt the dog, just enough to get his attention. The correction does not shock the dog but rather would be like if someone were to walk across the carpet and zap you with static electricity.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Many people find the correction cruel to dogs and therefore are less likely to purchase our product. Our product does not hurt the dog and actually gives them a chance to be happier and not be trapped inside all day.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth has best helped us. People are happy so they tell their neighbores.

What is your website address?
