Please give us a short summary of your website?

We created www.PawZnPlay.com to be an informational resource for patrons of our doggie daycare located in Sunderland, MA; but we are working hard to make this resource extend well beyond conventional daycare sites. Just as our on-site goal is to provide an entertaining and enriching environment for the animals in our care, our on-line goal is to provide an entertaining and enriching web environment for both local and international visitors.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Well, it was obvious that we would need a site for our business, but as I mentioned before, we were inspired to bring much more than that to the site construction. Our primary inspiration for this approach is the surprising lack of engaging pet resources on the internet. Our goal is to bring together pets and their owners.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We decided on Pawz 'n Play to encourage people to, obviously, Pause and Play with their pets. Next, we thought the Pawz 'n Play name makes a nice reference to the multimedia resources we plan to offer on the website (e.g. to pause and play a video).

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We would like to continue to expand this resource as time goes on and new technologies become possible. Any resource that makes our users laugh or inspires them, provides them with valuable information or resources will be explored and, in time, implemented.
