What used to be a legendary creature that only existed in stories and myth is already confirmed. There really are vampire dogs that drain the blood out of livestock animals.A corpse of a chupacabra, which literally translates to 'goat sucker', was discovered in Texas. out of all the mythical, blood sucking creatures out there, the Chupacabra is almost certainly the sneakiest www.coffeerama.com Comment #2 hi at 04/13/09 08:12

THIS day the 26th of June,I saw what had to be a Chupacabra about 9 miles southwest of Electra Texas. The Chupacabra ran across the road in front of me. I was suprised when I turned around and the animal didn't get in a hurry to get out of site. When I realized what I was looking at,I got out and went towards it. I was within 40 yards of it and it still just stood their with its head hanging low. It wasn't a dog and it wasn't a coyote, and it wasn't a wolf. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. Of course the pictures I took with my camera phone didn't come out. Maybe there is a process that can zoom in and get a clearer picture. This Chupacabra had a long narrow body, long almost pointed snout or nose, long tail, and almost appeared to be hairless until I got closer. The Chupacabra was skinny, but not from malnutrition. If I never see an animal like that again I'll go to my grave knowing what I saw was a Chupacabra. Hell, everyone I've told since I've been home today just laughed about it. Then when I took my daughter to get a snow cone, the gentleman there told me he believed me, because he and one of his sons saw one. As matter of fact when I was describing it he interrupted and described it to a T. Well if anyone is interested in this , just email me. I still can't beleive what I saw.I actually stepped in cactus wearing flip flops.I'm still picking thorns out of my heels. Comment #4 jonathon at 07/10/09 23:04

7/24/09 today, a little past 8pm, i saw what first i thought was a jackrabbit, due to the way it moved. then i saw it had like a dog's head and ears. it didn't really run away, but loped around in the brush slowly moving away. i saw it clearly and remembered the what was supposed to be dead coyote pictures from the news last year (2008). it looked similar, but as small as a fox, rather than a coyote. foxes and coyotes always run away, but IF this one was emaciated and mangy, i supposed the condition(s) of starvation and mange could cause it to lope around in a funny way. i say mangy since it was for all practical purposes hairless... it is my "chupacabra"! Brett I believe you because I have seen 2 of them. One, about a year ago on the edge of the Caprock going into Post and the second one, last Friday (July 24,2009) between Robert Lee and Colorado City. They were both exactly as you describe them.
