The TCH Feline, Inc. is a new company. It’s a family-owned business, whose goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible at an affordable price. The Cat Hut was developed by Mrs. Annie Howden of Hanover, MD and manufactured by MotionTouch. The Cat Hut is a cozy place where your cat or small animal can eat, sleep, lounge, and Play. It’s convenient for you and fun for your pet. You will never need to buy another one. All you need to do is replace the carpet, bowls, toys, and scratching pole once They become worn from use. This will be a great savings for you our customer. This Cat Hut Center will meet most of your pet’s basic needs. Your pet will have fun using It and you will enjoy watching them use it. What inspired you to launch your own website?
My mother inspired me. We had a cat when I was growing up and I was always the one kicking over the cat's water and food bowls and then I had to clean it up. About 3 or 4 years ago I was taking care of my mother, who has passed on now and I started drawing this cat station that would lock the bowls in place. I drew it and patented it and so here we are now trying to sell it. The cat house of the future.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launched our first website in June of 2007 and it live the end of August 2007. It's a web store to sell my product.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I wanted the name of product to on the site so I named it TCH Feline, Inc. The TCH is The Cat Hut and Feline means cat. It's a cat product so feline is perfect for the name.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My goal is to sell as many as I can to cat lovers everywhere.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Well I am just starting and this my first time doing something like this. I have invested a great deal of time and money already and I pray that it will be a success.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
My budget is limited,but if it was unlimited I would advertise more. But it still would be resonable. I don't think i would change anything that I have done so far I just want to get the word out about. We do have an ad coming out in the Cat fancy magazine and the New York Tails.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes we are ready and we could get more help.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
One of my unexpected cost was when I found out that when someone use the charge card, I will have to pay a % of that cost depending on who I use and that cost varies. my only headach is just trying to get the word out without breaking the budget.
What has been your biggest challenge?
put the site together was a big challenge for me because I had never set up a web store before. I also had a hard time getting a manufacture.But I did it and I think the site is great. Now my biggest challenge is advertisement.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
It's kind hard to say now because the site has only been live for about a month and some of biggest promotion are coming out in Sept. The Cat Fancy and the New York Tails. I do have it on a few free online ads and I have linked with some other sites and they have my site on there site to advertise. A lot of people have hit the site but we are still waiting for more sales.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It is what I expected,but I just need more people to log on and buy.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I have been running the site live for about two months now. Yes I will continue to run it.
