Please give us a short summary of your website?
Small kennel east of Toronto, dedicated to breeding Cairn Terriers. All dogs live in our home and are family pets. Many of our dogs have gone into show homes, but we breed mainly for BEST IN HOME. All our dogs are redg with the CKC and meet the standards of the club. All our dogs are guarantee for health & temperment.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I believe shopping on the internet is part of everyones life. Before making a long drive people can see the pups/parents and have a look at my house.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I started my website almost 2years ago. I keep updating
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Its actually the name of my Kennel, Ricelake
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Well I did make it myself, it might not be a posh as some, but I do try to keep it updated and post current pictures, theres stil more to come, deffinately a work in progress.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I intent to keep it as a store to sell my puppies.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It has cost me basically nothing to launch this site, but has saved me a huge amount in the old way I adertised in print, i.e. Toronto Star etc.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Maybe I could hire a pro to help me
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The only headache would be getting & keeping my site on page 1

I believe it has deffinately gotten the word out.

its been up 2years and I expect to continue indeffinately
