Perhaps almost all of you out there have already watched animated movie Bolt. Well, I have seen it as well, twice in theaters actually. The first one, I was alone. And the next one, I was with friend. However, for some reason, I was not able to comprehend to the story well with those movie encounters. Haha.
Yea, I'm such a fool for texting while inside the theater and talking to my friend. I understand the movie but was not quite into it. I mean, I liked it but and hat was it. BUt just a few days ago, I was able to watch it again, for the third time. I downloaded it via torrent and this time I was pretty amazed with the film.
Well, for those who do not know, the title Bolt is from its main character, a dog named Bolt, who grew along with a child actress. Bolt was then raised as the side-kick of the little girl in his sci-fi movies. Bolt thought everything he has done inside the movie set was real, including him posessing super natural powers like hyper speed, laser sight and the uber deadly and uber powerful Super Bark.
While inside their studio quarters, Bolt is constantly teased by other animals around, most notably the two cats whom Bolt has a cosntant discussion with. These cats would teased Bolt by pretending to be Evil cats while Bolt believes that he has to eliminate the two. Bolt's owner, Penny, wanted to stop everything and tell Bolt it was just a movie, but the producers would not let her. The true climax of the film happened when Bolt was accidentally departed from her owner and realizes everything was not real.
However, along the way on his journey to get back to Penny, he met a few animals friends, a cat and a hamster who happened to be a big fan of his.
The film ended with the studio under fire and Bolt and his owner was trapped inside it. They were about to die when Bolt barked near an echoing tube that resulted to it to sound like a "super bark", thus letting rescuers hear them and rescuing them eventually.
It was a feel good movie, a story of a dog's struggle to reality. It was really great and the concept was very nice. I'm recommending it to everybody especially to those who love their dogs very much!
