Tank Aquariums Interview

Name of your website?

Tank Aquariums

Your name?

Tank Aquariums

Your Location (city, etc)

Belmont

Please give us a short summary of your website?

The website is used to promote our Belmont Aquarium and our Aquarium Domestic and Commercial Services.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Just knew we wanted one.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

4 years ago, the current one with a different header.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Based on the shop name.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

We aren't trying to sell product on the website. It is information based.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To let people know we exist and to promote our services.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It takes a lot of time to manage without too much return. I don't believe it brings in a lot of new business but the current customers use it as a tool.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We don't have a budget for this, I do the work but if we did, I would have someone optimising it and making changes weekly.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

No

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None

What has been your biggest challenge?

Making changes

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

In-store

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

4 years, indefinately

What is your website address?

Tank Aquariums
