Hawaiian Humane Society

The way modern society works is that much suffering is created by the unwillingness of people to face issues concerning humans and animals. Fortunately, there are many people that dedicate their lives, or time, to working for the improvement of this very unjust situation. Those dedicated to the animal humane mission are constantly working to detect mistreatment, abuse, hunger and illness among our animal friends. Recently they had to intervene and mobilize in response to an emergency concerning 400 animals in the last stages of despair and hunger. Many different institutions and interested businesses got together and resolved the situation. Congratulations!
